Grandpa I am going to miss your wonderful smile so much. We had a lot of plans for you that week-end especially going to Brown County but the Lord must have noticed you was getting tired and missing grandma so much. I will miss fixing the coffee pot for you at night for your morning coffee. No one was as good of a weather man than you. Quinlan will miss you sleeping in the bunk bed with him and the two of you watching wrestling. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Skyler Johnson says
Bob Johnson was more than just a grandpa to me, he was a friend, and a teacher. We had great times together, I will never forget them. We would always fish, go to the airport, go to Dairy Queen, watch the games, talk, and listen to one another, I will always remember the war stories you told me grandpa, I will always cherish them. You sure had a good life grandpa and a lot to tell, I always looked up to you when you told me those stories and whenever I would see you. I will miss you grandpa for I will never get used to not having you over on the weekends and holidays, and how you would always be our weather man. I will always think of you everyday grandpa when I look up and check the weather myself, you’ve taught me well as have you taught everyone else you’ve loved and encountered. I know that you have made it home away from all the pain, suffering, and sorrow. You are now finally with grandma again living life the way it should be lived. I love you grandpa and I will never forget you, EVER! I look forward to meeting you again and going fishing in the lakes of gold. Good bye for now grandpa. Forever will you be remembered by all to come and go.
